It’s a feel-good dramedy that I definitely thought was too light hearted and colorful to win the Oscars, but I was proven wrong! It doesn’t have much of a substance, story-wise, but it keeps making you smile throughout most of the movie and I thought that was lovely. It feels like a classic already.

What a great ride with Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali! Beautiful true story adapted to screen, great script and wonderful dialogues on a simple story that shows how friendship and respect can develop on such different backgrounds. A must see! Spoiler alert: For all the classical music fans, you’ll be delighted to listen to some great ‘Joe Pan’ piano solos.

Driving Miss Daisy meets The Intouchables and the result is an unpretentious super positive movie that will put a smile on your face from the beginning until the end. How nice it is to have such a film without explosions and bullshit... Refreshing!
